Since our establishment, SIO Automotive has been developing and implementing new technologies to offer products with high-quality standards and make our production processes more efficient. In 2017, we accelerated our activities in this field by obtaining the R&D Center Certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Technology to consolidate our R&D and innovation efforts under one roof.
At our R&D Center, equipped with advanced engineering infrastructure and modern laboratory facilities, we continue our activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
The key areas of our work are as follows:

• Creating opportunities in new product groups and business areas,
• Developing and implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable products and production technologies,

Superior Quality with the 'BETTER THAN OE' Philosophy
As the main supplier of Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG, SIO Automotive showcases its strength in R&D and innovation through the products it manufactures under the 'BETTER THAN OE' philosophy.
Adopting the 'Open Innovation' approach, SIO Automotive is making a difference in the industry with successful projects implemented in collaboration with universities, technology startups, and suppliers. To date, eight university-industry collaboration projects and five TÜBİTAK/TEYDEB projects are concrete examples of these efforts. Within the scope of more than 50 projects conducted at our R&D Center, 11 patents and 3 utility models have been registered, and we currently have 6 patent applications under review.

Our innovation journey has been further strengthened with our initiative, Meyle Innovation Center, located at Yıldız Technical University Yıldız Technopark Maslak campus. This center advances our vision of developing innovative solutions that shape the technologies of the future.
